Never have I ever liked school.

My parents practically begged me as a child to turn in my work, or even do it.

(To be fair, I was undiagnosed and unmedicated for ADHD, so I won’t give all the blame to my hatred of going to school)

But there’s a difference between “I have to go to school because I’m a minor” or “I want to go to college to get a degree” and plain and simple, “I just want to learn.”

Learning has always been a delight. I love knowing things!

And since I haven’t been in school in a good while, I don’t get the chance to learn from a curriculum unless I’m the one to create it.

My 2026 Curriculum

Being a grown adult means I can decide exactly what I want to learn and how I want to learn it. It doesn’t matter if it’s something I never had a class on in school.

So, this year, I compiled a list of things I will (and have been, to a certain extent) learn more about. It’s an excuse to take notes like I’m still in school, and it lets me feel a lot smarter while still enjoying a new take on my free time.
